Zitelle Barchetta is a Sauvignon Bianco from the micro-location of the same name, produced in very small quantities. It is a rich and exuberant expression of the very aromatic grape variety. Barchetta is fermented in oak and aged in barrique for ten months. The result is a very atypical wine for Sauvignon Blanc. Its more oxidative style of vinification results in a creamy texture followed by warm notes of summer peach, toasted almonds and passion fruit. Complex, harmonious and very distinctive!
